Advisors that adhere to the fiduciary standard must place the best interests of the client before their own interests. Not all advisors adhere to the fiduciary standard, but Wild Rye Financial does. We believe operating with full transparency is the best practice.

Registered Investment Advisory Firms such as Wild Rye Financial use third party asset custodian to maintain and secure client assets and holdings. The majority of RIAs use the Big Three broker-dealer firms: Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing Advisor Solutions. These types of custodians must keep each of the RIA’s client accounts separate.

Wild Rye Financial is a fee-only advisory firm. That means we don’t earn commissions, kickbacks, or incentives from selling products. We’re paid solely by the clients we serve—through a transparent fee structure based on assets under management.

Simply put: when our clients do well, we do well. If portfolios are down, our advisory fees decline. If portfolios grow, so does our compensation. This structure keeps us sitting on the same side of the table—invested in your success, not the sale.

It’s not just clean—it’s intentional. Fee-only means our focus stays where it belongs: on building lasting wealth and long-term trust.

It’s an important question—and one we’ve planned for with care. I have a formal succession agreement with Tom White of Mountain Wealth Management, a trusted colleague who shares our values and philosophy. If I were to pass away or become incapacitated, Tom would step in seamlessly to serve our clients, ensuring continuity of care and stewardship.

Beyond that, our strategic partnership with Total Office Inc. gives us operational overlap which adds another layer of stability and smooth transition planning. We’ve built this safety net intentionally, because we believe your financial life should be protected not just through market cycles, but through life’s unpredictability as well
