Assess, Assemble, Adapt
At Wild Rye Financial, we don’t chase the wild ride. Some investors like to play cowboy—putting everything on the line in search of outsized returns. That’s not our philosophy. We believe in building wealth with intention: simply, sustainably, and in a way that endures across financial seasons.
We design broad, efficient portfolios that help clients weather both calm markets and unexpected storms. Our approach emphasizes clarity over complexity—because the best strategies are the ones you can actually stick to. Each portfolio is managed in-house and tailored to individual goals and preferences. To deepen our investment expertise, we’ve built strategic partnerships with a select group of managers who specialize in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment selection. These relationships allow us to stay focused on what matters: delivering thoughtful, long-term results.
We primarily use low-cost, diversified investments—ETFs and mutual funds—to give clients broad exposure across asset classes. And for those who desire it, we incorporate a carefully curated individual stock portfolio. Everything we build is designed to be purposeful, adaptable, and aligned with your financial life
The foundation of our process is the initial and on-going assessment of your personal and financial situation.
Using the information from the assessment, we develop several customized strategies to help you achieve your goals & objectives. Once we present your options, as a team, we decide which strategy is the best for you and then begin the implementation process.
Life changes and so will your plan. We meet at regularly scheduled intervals to review your current situation and make the necessary adjustments to your financial plan and investment strategy.
Our Investment Philosophy
I began this work in my mid-twenties, became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ soon after, and have spent over a decade guiding clients through investment decisions, financial planning, and life’s pivotal moments. This profession isn’t a stepping stone—it’s a lifelong calling. I plan to be right here, walking alongside the families I serve for decades to come.
My business isn’t built on one-time transactions or quick fixes. It’s built on relationships—steady, enduring, and rooted in trust. I’ll be there during the “go-go” years, the “slow-go” years, and even the “no-go” years. I’ll celebrate the birth of grandchildren, and I’ll honor your legacy when the time comes.
What sets me apart isn’t just experience—it’s the time horizon I offer, the care I bring, and the relationships I build along the way. I’m here for the long haul, because lasting stewardship isn’t a tagline—it’s a promise.
As an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm, we have the freedom to choose the very best. From cutting-edge technology to world-class investment management and operational support, our strategic partners help us deliver clarity, resilience, and long-term value to the families we serve. A few of those partners include:
We don’t work with everyone—and that’s by design. Clients must meet asset minimums, yes, but more importantly, we must align on a personal and professional level. This intentional approach allows us to maintain a small client base and deliver the kind of high-touch, deeply personalized service that endures.
This isn’t a short-term arrangement. We build relationships meant to last for decades—through market cycles, life transitions, and everything in between. I’ll be there to celebrate milestones, navigate challenges, and yes, even attend your funeral. That’s the level of commitment we bring.
While I may look young, I’ve been a financial advisor for over a decade—starting straight out of college, which is rare in this industry. Many professionals retire just as their clients need them most. You won’t have to worry about that here. I fully expect to serve as your advisor for the next 30+ years, offering continuity, stability, and long-term stewardship.
We serve clients across the country—by Zoom, by plane, by car, and by whatever means best suit their lives. Our boutique structure prioritizes quality over quantity, allowing us to tailor services to each client’s preferences. As an independent firm, we’re free to choose the best technology and strategic partners for the job. That flexibility means we can adapt as the world adapts—crucial in a landscape that’s always evolving.

Advisors that adhere to the fiduciary standard must place the best interests of the client before their own interests. Not all advisors adhere to the fiduciary standard, but Wild Rye Financial does. We believe operating with full transparency is the best practice.
Registered Investment Advisory Firms such as Wild Rye Financial use third party asset custodian to maintain and secure client assets and holdings. The majority of RIAs use the Big Three broker-dealer firms: Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing Advisor Solutions. These types of custodians must keep each of the RIA’s client accounts separate.
Wild Rye Financial is a fee-only advisory firm. That means we don’t earn commissions, kickbacks, or incentives from selling products. We’re paid solely by the clients we serve—through a transparent fee structure based on assets under management.
Simply put: when our clients do well, we do well. If portfolios are down, our advisory fees decline. If portfolios grow, so does our compensation. This structure keeps us sitting on the same side of the table—invested in your success, not the sale.
It’s not just clean—it’s intentional. Fee-only means our focus stays where it belongs: on building lasting wealth and long-term trust.
It’s an important question—and one we’ve planned for with care. I have a formal succession agreement with Tom White of Mountain Wealth Management, a trusted colleague who shares our values and philosophy. If I were to pass away or become incapacitated, Tom would step in seamlessly to serve our clients, ensuring continuity of care and stewardship.
Beyond that, our strategic partnership with Total Office Inc. gives us operational overlap which adds another layer of stability and smooth transition planning. We’ve built this safety net intentionally, because we believe your financial life should be protected not just through market cycles, but through life’s unpredictability as well
Your goals. Your values. Your future—all with a plan that fits.
